We write further to your request received 29 October 2024, which states:

"Please can you confirm whether or not a cost-benefit analysis has been carried out

between the Orsted Offshore Windfarm verses Cairns Vie Onshore Windfarm.

If such a cost-benefit analysis has been carried out, I would like to receive a copy."

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance Manx Utilities does not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find the information that you have requested.

No cost benefit analysis has been undertaken between the Ørsted Offshore Windfarm versus the proposed Cair Vie Onshore Windfarm by Manx Utilities and to date we have received no commercial offer from any offshore windfarm developer.
