A request was made for the results and conclusions of test borings at the Glenfaba House site following concerns about late-night work. The Manx Utilities Authority responded by providing technical drilling records and borehole logs, though they noted that not all requested information was held.
Key Facts
The request was triggered by work carried out at 10:30 pm on 8 December 2017, which was alleged to contravene environmental health regulations.
The test borings were completed at the Glenfaba House site, identified as Peel STW - Site 5.
The authority provided an Exploratory Hole Key Sheet and a Borehole Log for reference BH101.
The response outcome was classified as 'Some information sent but not all held'.
The geological strata identified included topsoil, clay, sand, and weathered rock.

Original Request
Following a request for an explanation for work being carried out at 10.30 pm the previous evening (contrary to Environmental health regulations) on 8th December 2017 RW Simpson, Project Sponsor, stated by email that the test borings work at Glenfaba House is now complete and that the evening work was necessary due to the incoming inclement weather.
Please would you provide me with the results of the test borings on the Glenfaba House site.
Please would you provide me with the conclusions drawn from those test borings.
