Dear ###
We write further to your request which was received on 29 November 2021 and which states:
"Please provide a list of all workers in the employment of the Manx Utilities Authority, by grade description and areas of employment, including workers at senior management level, who receive free private health treatment for themselves and their families."
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the public authority does not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find the information that you have requested as we do not hold the detail as requested.
However, to provide further advice and assistance we are able to confirm there are currently 27 members of staff that receive private health benefit funded by Manx Utilities as part of their terms of employment. These staff are all employed on individual personal contracts, such contracts were offered by the former Manx Electricity Authority (MEA) prior to the merger to form the Manx Utilities Authority. By definition, these contracts are not subject to the standard Manx Utilities grading, but as ex-MEA staff, the individuals are primarily employed within the Electric or Corporate functions of the business.
