Dear ###
We write further to your request which was received on 9 February 2021 and which states:
"I would like a copy of the JBA report namely 'Laxey Flood Feasibility dated November 2019 '"
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, under section 20 of the Act, we are not required to provide information in response to a request if it is already reasonably accessible to you, whether free of charge or on payment of a fee. We have interpreted that the report requested is the 'Laxey Flood Alleviation Scheme - Feasibility summary report' as commissioned in 2019 but produced and published dated August 2020. This is publically available on the IOM Flood Hub, area Laxey. At the bottom of the page are technical reports – Laxey FAS Overview report. In October 2020 Tynwald approved a ‘Transfer of Function Order’ for the formation of a new division, responsible for all matters relating to Flood Management within the Department of Infrastructure (DOI). The new ‘Flood Management Division’ brought together staff from both Manx Utilities and the DOI into one single area, and consequently all records and information associated with flood management have been transferred from Manx Utilities to the DOI. You can contact the Flood Management Division of the DOI regarding the report via https://iomfloodhub.im/. Please quote the reference number 1665469 in any future communications.
