We write further to your request which was received on 10 June 2019 and which states:
"DfE Handed over the responsibility for training services, skills support and Apprenticeships to DESC along with its associated budget. What budget was handed over and how many staff moved from DfE to DESC as part of this transfer?"
Our response to your request is as follows: I have detailed below the information that is being released to you. A total budget of £1,795,346 was transferred from DfE to DESC along with five members of staff (three directly involved with training, skills and apprenticeships and two career advisors), as part of the transfer of functions.
