We write further to your request which was received on 3 June 2019 and which states:
"For the Statutory Boards I believe that the pay for lay board members is defined and agreed by Tynwald. Would you be able to supply the current rates for each of the Statutory Boards and the last time these were changed?"
Our response to your request is as follows: I have detailed below the information that is being released to you. The Statutory Boards (Annual Sums) Order 2015 (SD2015/0268) was approved by Tynwald on 21 October 2015 and came into operation on 1 November 2015. The document is available on the Tynwald website in the Library, Statutory Documents, 2015 tab and I attach a copy for your information which details the rates applicable to Board Members who are not Members of Tynwald. The Treasury is the Department with responsibility for reviewing the prevailing rates from time to time.
