We write further to your request which was received on 26 April 2019 and which states:
"1. What was the arrears of rent public sector houses at the 31st March 2019? 2. How much arrears of rent have been written of from the 1st April 2018 to the 31st March 2019? 3. 1. Total arrears of public sector housing rent owned across the Department of Infrastructure’s housing properties as at 31st March 2019 were £15,620.21. 2. No arrears of public sector housing rent owned across the Department of Infrastructure’s housing properties were written off between 1st April 2018 and 31st March 2019. 3. One eviction from public sector housing owned by the Department of Infrastructure took place during the same period in relation to eviction for reasons of non-payment of rent. The answers provided above only relate to public sector housing owned by the Department of Infrastructure at the time of your request. You may wish to request further information from other housing authorities on the Island.
