Dear ###
We write further to your request which was received on the 21st March 2019 and states:
Your request: "In the last 28 days can you please provide emails from the bed flow manager to the respective wards (sister/manager) when the bed capacity in the wards were full resulting in the transfer of A&E/ED patients being delayed until a bed became available?"
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the public authority does not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find the information that you have requested.
In response to your question there have been no emails that match the criteria set out in the FOI. All communications between the Patient Flow Team and individual ward shift leaders are verbal, either face to face or over the phone. We measure the patient transfer delays from A&E (Emergency Department) to wards through our regular A&E performance monitoring.
Please quote the reference number 759665 in any future communications.
