I have been advised by Manx Utilities that a felling licence had been granted in respect of the Scots Pine trees in the middle of the garden at Glenfaba House prior to their acquisition of the property in 2018. Please would you let me know when and for what reason the felling licence was granted as well as to how many and which trees it applies? Please would you also let me know if any further felling licence has been granted in respect of trees on this property? The property address is Glenfaba House, Glenfaba Road, Raggatt, Peel IM5 3AD.

We write further to your request which was received on the 15th January 2019 and which states:

"I have been advised by Manx Utilities that a felling licence had been granted in respect of the Scots Pine trees in the middle of the garden at Glenfaba House prior to their acquisition of the property in 2018. Please would you let me know when and for what reason the felling licence was granted as well as to how many and which trees it applies? Please would you also let me know if any further felling licence has been granted in respect of trees on this property? The property address is Glenfaba House, Glenfaba Road, Raggatt, Peel IM5 3AD."

Our response to your request is as follows: Information relating to a recent tree felling licence for this property, which should answer your request, is attached to the same email as this. We have also been informed by Manx Utilities, the new owners of the site, that no trees on the site will be felled until a new licence is obtained to cover the removal of all of the trees necessary for the project. Please quote the reference number 706065 in any future communications.
