We write further to your request which was received on the 7th January 2019 which states:

“Question 1: How much will the conversion of Ward 5 cost in total? Question 2: Who is the Contractor?"

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the public authority does not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find some of the information that you have requested. I have detailed below the information that is held. Question 1: How much will the conversion of Ward 5 cost in total? The figure for the total cost cannot be known until the completion of the works however we can provide the following figure of £1,054,704.30 which includes amounts from DOI and other contributors.

Question 2: Who is the Contractor? Island developers SCS (Stuart Clague Services) were appointed contractors for the project on the 18th December 2018 after an open procurement process. Works commenced on the 7th January 2019. In addition we can refer you to the Government news release from Thursday
