We write further to your request which was received on 17 December 2018 and which states:
"1. How much is owed of disposal charges at Sita for 30, 60, 90 120 seedays or month ends which ever are the easier. 2. How much is outstanding after 6 months and what actions have been taken to recover debt."
I have detailed below the information that is being released to you. 1. As at 31st December 2018 the following tipping fees for the Energy from Waste Plant were outstanding under 30 days £333,878.94 31 to 60 days £115,458.34 61 to 90 days £149,805.14 over 90 days £252,158.72 2. The amount outstanding after 6 months is £252,158. Part of this debt will be written off in due course due to one customer’s inability to pay (bankruptcy). Of the remaining debts, one is being cleared through a payment arrangement and the Department is in dialogue with the other customers to chase payment or resolve disputed tipping fees.
