We write further to your request which was received on 2 October 2018 and which states:

"How many "Staff" Parking Permits are issued at the Isle of Man Airport of Which i,How many are issued to staff directly employed by IOM Government ii,How Many are issues to staff employed by contractors / third parties. iii,Also please confirm what the policy is relating to use of parking permits outside of working hours. e.g. to avoid charges ordinarily imposed on the public when travelling from IOM Airport iv,finally, please confirm the annual charge for a business to lease a contract bay in the staff car park."

We are pleased to supply the information you have requested below. A total of 478 parking permits are currently issued for use in the staff car park at the Airport. (i) 176 permits are issued to staff who are directly employed by the Isle of Man Government. (ii) 302 permits are issued to staff who are employed by contractors/third parties. (iii) There is no written policy relating to the use of staff parking permits ‘outside of working hours’; however there is an expectation that the permit will be used whilst on Government business or whilst travelling off Island on Government- related business. (iv) The current annual charges for a business to lease a contract bay in the staff car park are as follows: Designated individual slot within staff car £750.00 each (one space)
