which states:
Can you please provide me with the current waiting time for the following
procedures:
- Capsule Endoscopies (or pill cams)
- MRI Scans
Our response to your request is as follows:
The next available appointment for a Capsule Endoscopy (if all patients currently
waiting are booked in) would be 29th July 2019. Do note that an urgent patient would
be booked in for the procedure earlier than this however the exact time frame would
depend on a number of different factors.
The MRI waiting times as of 11th October 2018 are as follows:
Urgent referrals: 4 – 6 Weeks
Routine referrals: 5 Months
