Dear ###
We write further to your request, received 20 February 2026, which states:
"How many MHKs have had Fixed Penalty Notices cancelled.
How many parking bays are for MHKs and what do they pay"
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance, complying
with the first part of your request would require the Department of Infrastructure to:
• Compile a current and historical list of all MHKs.
• Manually interrogate all parking data for name matches.
• Identify which records relate to cancelled Fixed Penalty Notices
• Determine whether the MHK was the driver, which is not information the
Department holds.
This would require substantial collation, research and analysis which Section 8(3) of
the Freedom of Information Act specifies a public authority is not required to
undertake.
A total of seventeen bays are available for MHKs, at a rate of £95 per month.
Please quote the reference number 5324125 in any future communications.
