On 18 February 2026 we wrote to you to seek clarification as follows: "In order to identify and locate the information that you have asked for we need some further information from you to seek clarification from you. In particular, it would be helpful to know if you are referring to the Tynwald Equality Consultative Council, as referred to in section 162 of the Equality Act 2017 please? " On the 19 February 2026 you provided clarification as follows: "Hi there Thank you for your email. Yes that would be correct the tynwald equality consultative council. Thanks so much."

We write further to your request received 17 February 2026, which states:
"Please provide any information regarding the equality council including:
- It's remit & terms of reference
-Any agenda items / action logs17/03/2026

On 18 February 2026 we wrote to you to seek clarification as follows:
"In order to identify and locate the information that you have asked for we need some further information from you to seek clarification from you. In particular, it would be helpful to know if you are referring to the Tynwald Equality Consultative Council, as referred to in section 162 of the Equality Act 2017 please?"
On the 19 February 2026 you provided clarification as follows:
"…Yes that would be correct the Tynwald equality consultative council..."
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Cabinet Office does not hold the information that you have requested. To provide advice and assistance, in line with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2015, we can advise as follows.
Section 162 of the Equality Act 2017 makes provision for the replacement of the Tynwald Advisory Council for Disabilities with a new body, the Tynwald Equality Consultative Committee (TECC). This section of the Act has not been brought into operation yet through an Appointed Day Order.
