We write further to your request which was received on 11 July 2018 and which states:
“How much money has the Department sought from the German company who are coming here to launch a new car?”. Our response to your request is as follows: We understand that you are referring to the Audi TT event that took place from 12 to 19 July 2018. Due to the fact that the Department for Enterprise took the view that the international press launch of the new Audi TT was likely to be highly beneficial for the Island in terms of worldwide promotion no money was sought. The project was seen as a mutually beneficial partnership. Audi estimate that the combined potential worldwide reach of the publications and media involved in this press visit is over 30 million people.
