1. For the scheme years 2016 and 2017, broken down by year, how many fields have been claimed by more than one applicant? 2. For the scheme years 2016 and 2017, broken down by year, how many fields, which have been claimed by more than one applicant, have been paid to one of the applicants before the other applicant has withdrawn their claim to the field? 3. Since the start of the CCS how many fields have had their land classification changed from AML to BML and vice versa? 4. What are the numbers of the fields in question 3 and in which direction was each of the classifications changed? 5. Please supply the contract between DAFF and the SAC which set out the terms and methodology for the Land Classification process.

We write further to your request which was received on 11 July 2018 and which states:
"1. For the scheme years 2016 and 2017, broken down by year, how many fields have been claimed by more than one applicant? 2. For the scheme years 2016 and 2017, broken down by year, how many fields, which have been claimed by more than one applicant, have been paid to one of the applicants before the other applicant has withdrawn their claim to the field? 3. Our response to your request is as follows: I have detailed below the information that is being released to you. Response: 1. The number of duplicate field claims in the 2016/17 scheme is 106 and in the 2017/18 scheme year the total is 26. 2. 2016/17 Scheme Year – 1, 2017/18 Scheme Year – 0 3. The following page shows a table with the information on fields that have had their land classification changed since the start of the CCS/ADS.
