Original Request

Dear Doi I pass this shelter on a regular basis and have noticed the new works have ensured that the concrete base the shelter is now built in resembles a very large paddling pool . Can the Doi confirm that they passed this work off as being a suitable standard , that would be expected for sun contractor work for the Doi and wgat were the costs for putting tbe base in for the shelter . It's quite frankly embarrassing that work if this standard is still being passed by the Doi considering the state of the Douglas promenade , which is built to the same standard .
