We write further to your request received 2 January 2026, which states:

"Please provide "family tree", aka an organisational chart, for the staffing of the Overseas Aid Division, aka the International Development Division, of the Cabinet Office showing the job titles of all staff, their salary maximas and the names of senior staff from HEO upwards."

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Cabinet Office does not hold the information that you have requested.

There is no Overseas Aid Division or International Development Division within Cabinet Office and so, an organisational chart in that respect is not held.

However, by way of advice and assistance we can advise that the External Relations Team, part of the Crown and External Relations Directorate of the Cabinet Office, is responsible for implementing the International Development policy on behalf of the Council of Ministers. An organisational chart for the External Relations Team is attached at Annex 1.

Only one staff member of the External Relations Team works primarily on the implementation of the International Development policy. This staff member is an Executive Officer. Other more senior staff act in a supervisory capacity only to the Executive Officer as required. These staff who act in a supervisory capacity are graded as follows:
