This request is being handled under the Freedom of Information Act 2015.

We write further to your request which was received on 2 July 2018 and which states:

"How many applications for restraint orders have been made by, or on behalf of, the Attorney General in each year since 2008; How many confiscation orders have been obtained by, or on behalf of, the Attorney General in each year since 2008."

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the public authority does not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find some of the information that you have requested.
We do not hold a complete statistical summary which identifies the figures you have requested for all years concerned. I have detailed below the information that is held, but the figures for earlier years may not be an accurate reflection of the total numbers of actual Orders made by the Courts of Justice in the Isle of Man.
