Original Request
The Electric Railway sign lights up in various different colours not just white, these can be changed for certain events such as Breast Cancer Awareness etc. The lights also match the lights running along the Prom. Why are the lights never changed to different colours when numerous landmarks across the IOM are changed multiple times a year to coincide with specific dates. Many Thanks Mike

Our response to your request is as follows: I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.
The Department does not routinely change lighting but will consider requests from responsible organisations. Since the lighting was installed, we have only received one request to change the colours.
Guidance from the supplier is required to enable us to programme and set the lighting controls, as the original staff who commissioned the project have left the organisation. Although this guidance has been requested, the supplier has not yet been able to assist. Once the process is established, we will be in a position to review and potentially action future requests.
