We write further to your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2015, received 17 November 2025, which states:

Our response to your request is as follows:

I enclose a copy of the information that is held, in the form of a table of sites owned by Manx National Heritage with the breakdown of area in acres and hectares.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance Manx National Heritage does not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find some of the information that you have requested.

The land holdings data in the table provided does not include areas occupied by historic sites and buildings, such as the Manx Museum, Rushen Abbey or Peel Castle.

However, there is extensive information publicly available from the Land Registry and Ordnance Survey maps.

Please quote the reference number 5091301 in any future communications. Should you have any queries concerning this letter, please do not hesitate to contact me.
