We write further to your request received 12 November 2025, which states:

xyz (and intensity and/or rgb if available) data of island wide lidar campaigns. I have capacity to store the data locally.

On 18 November, the Department contacted you to seek clarification regarding your request, specifically asking what was meant by ‘island-wide LIDAR campaigns’.

On 18 November, you clarified your request by advising “I believe defa has 3D data of the whole island from aeroplane flights that were commissioned. That’s the data I would like to get access to.”

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the public authority does not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find the information that you have requested. This is because the Department do not hold this information.
