We write further to your request, received 11 November 2025, which states:

"I am requesting to know how many people have claimed injury due to a slip or fall in Castletown Square in the last year; and have they received any compensation? I don't wish to know of any amounts paid, if any." While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the public authority does not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find some of the information that you have requested.
Over the past year the Department of Infrastructure has received one claim to injury due to a slip or fall in Castletown Square. As of the date the request was made, the Department does not hold any information on the number of claimants who have received compensation.
