Dear ###,

We write further to your request, received 11 November 2025, which states:

"When will the current Worldpay contract be up? It was due to be up for tender this year."

Our response to your request is as follows:

The WorldPay contract is currently on a rolling yearly agreement until we give notice to terminate - as detailed in the contract extract below:

“9.2 The term of this Agreement will automatically be renewed for successive one (1) year periods unless either Party gives written notice to the other Party, at least two (2) months prior to the scheduled date of expiration of the initial Term or any renewal term, that this Agreement shall terminate.”

When the procurement process begins for this contract, notification of such will be through the procurement portal to ensure competitive fairness, as opposed to doing it any other way which would give some interested parties a competitive advantage. By way of advice and assistance, a date for the start of the procurement process is information that is currently not held within Treasury.
