Dear ###

We write further to your request received 30 October 2025, which states:

"WHAT IS THE DEPARMENTS PLAN, WHEN THE CURRENT END OF NEXT IN LINE REGISTRATIONS IS FINISHED, WHICH IS CURRENTLY IN THE LETTER TMN. WHAT WILL BE THE NEXT SEQUENCE AFTER THE LAST STARTING LETTER AVAILVABLE IN THE ALAPHABET IS USED?"

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the public authority does not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find the information that you have requested.

This is not something the Department has considered yet, as the current range of registrations will take approximately five years to complete. The Department will need to decide how the next sequence will be configured. However, at this stage, there are no plans in place and no decision papers have been submitted due to the timeframes involved

Please quote the reference number 5048329 in any future communications.
