Our response to your request is as follows:
The impact of any pay award will depend on a number of factors including the level of vacancies held at any one time, levels of staffing across different pay groups etc. Any figure can only therefore be an estimate of the impact. Given the above, we estimate the impact of a 6.5% increase in salaries to all hospital staff to be £4.1m per annum, using current vacancy levels.
