Subject: Freedom of Information Request - Community Reimbursement Data (Pharmacy and Dispensing GP) Good afternoon, I am writing to request information relating to the reimbursement of medicines and medical devices dispensed in primary care on the Isle of Man. I understand that this information is recorded as part of the prescription processing system, and that Manx Care is the data controller for these records. Specifically, I would like to request the following data for each of the past 12 months: The total dispensed volume, The number of prescription items, and The reimbursement cost (net ingredient cost) for each medicine or medical device prescribed and reimbursed in primary care. We write further to your request received 9 October 2025, which states:

"Subject: Freedom of Information Request - Community Reimbursement Data (Pharmacy and Dispensing GP)

Good afternoon,

I am writing to request information relating to the reimbursement of medicines and medical devices dispensed in primary care on the Isle of Man. I understand that this information is recorded as part of the prescription processing system, and that Manx Care is the data controller for these records.

Specifically, I would like to request the following data for each of the past 12 months:

The total dispensed volume,

The number of prescription items, and

The reimbursement cost (net ingredient cost)

for each medicine or medical device prescribed and reimbursed in primary care.

Please provide this information aggregated by dispensing contractor, for all community pharmacies and dispensing GP practices.

Response Under S11 (3) (b) complying with the request for information would require the public authority to do one or more of the matters mentioned in section 8(3) (things a public authority is not required to do by the Act) to create or derive information from
