Dear ###

Re: freedom of Information Act 2015

I write further to your request received 6 October 2025, which states:

"I seek such information held relating to the nomination of the Isle of Man in the Wanderlust Travel Awards for 2024 & 2025. This includes but is not limited to the nomination documentation submitted and exchanges of information relating to any aspect of the nomination between Visit Isle of Man and other areas of the DfE, other government departments and the award organisers. Additionally I seek such information held which relates to any costs incurred as associated with these awards (for 2024 and 2025 to date) e.g. travel and subsistence costs for staff attending 2024 award ceremony if applicable."

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the public authority does not hold the information that you have requested.

The reason for this is that there has been no communication between the Department and Wanderlust concerning the nomination of the Island for their award nor for the Islands nomination. I am unaware that they had any communication with other Public Bodies. The Department did not incur any additional expenses or costs through attending the awards event or for any other matter related to this.

Please quote the reference number 4978923 in any future communications.
