Dear ###

This request is being handled under the Freedom of Information Act 2015.

We write further to your request received 26 September 2025, which states:

"Could you please provide details of any breach of an exclusion order under the Criminal Justice (Exclusion of Non-Resident Offenders) Act 1998 over the past 10 years?
Could you further provide any details on when such a breach occurred, the nature or details of the breach and what punishment the person breaching the order received?"

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance, a practical refusal reason has been applied under section 11(3)(b) of the Freedom of Information Act 2015 (“the Act”), as complying with the request for information would require the public authority to do one or more of the matters mentioned in section 8(3) of the Act [things a public authority is not required to do by the Act], ie 8(3)(c) [undertake substantial compilation or collation of information that it holds]. In the interests of providing advice and assistance in respect of your request, under section 15 of the Act [Duty to provide advice and assistance], you may wish to consider directing your request to the Isle of Man Constabulary and/or the Isle of Man Courts of Justice.
