Dear Sir/Madam, I write in respect of the unauthorised works and breach of approved planning permission which has taken place in the river of the high risk flood zone to the rear of Victoria Terrace, Glen Road, Laxey. Specifically, in relation to all costs associated with the unauthorised patio/balcony structure which has been built by Paul Carey & Son Ltd on the instruction of the Flood Management Division. Our response to your request is as follows: I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.
A cost of £5,650.00 was incurred for the construction of the patio at the rear of Number 2, Victoria Terrace. This cost was in addition to that required for the associated retaining wall and is inclusive of all materials and labour.
