While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the public authority does not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find the of the information you have requested.
By way of advice and assistance the capacity of a club is based upon several factors including the venue, the activity, the number of casual sports coaching staff and the public demand for the scheme (number of bookings received). Capacity is adapted for each scheme dependant on these contributing factors.
Seasonal variations play a significant role in capacity planning. For example, activities offered over the winter period operate at reduced capacity due to less availability of sports coaches and the need to operate indoors. In contrast, summer programmes benefit from increased availability of sports coaches and the use of outdoor spaces due to the weather.
When offering activities, a standard capacity of may be applied, for example 40 participants in the Sports hall. However, this figure is subject to adjustment based on real time staffing levels and demand. Where feasible, capacity may be increased for high demand schemes and reduced where staffing restraints on low uptake arise. The demand for certain schemes differs on a day-to-day basis and capacity is adjusted as appropriate.
