We write further to your request, received 2 September 2025, which states:
"Total amounts paid out in compensation in response to complaints regarding medical omissions and malpractice since Manx Care came into being."
Response
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, under section 20 of the Act,
we are not required to provide information in response to a request if it is already
reasonably accessible to you, whether free of charge or on payment of a fee.
Some of the information that you have requested is available from a previous FOI

The information on medical compensation payments is part of a previous Freedom of
Information Request (ref 4516998) includes expenditure information to the 28th March
2025.
There is no change to the amount included in this answer for the compensation amount for the period to the 31st March 2025 (£4,604,072).
For the 2025/26 financial year the amount paid to the 31st August 2025 is £578,219.
