We write further to your request, received 11 August 2025, which states:

"Number of cases of meningitis reported to public health by month for the period 2021 to 2022.

In accordance with guidance and policies all instances of meningitis should be reported to public health."

For the period January 2021 to December 2022 the Health Protection Team at Public Health were notified of one case of meningitis in September 2022.
