We write further to your request, received 6 August 2025, which states:
"Is the supply of consumables (disposable gloves, toilet tissue, hand towels, centrefeed rolls, hand soaps and hand sanitisers) to Nobles Hospital entirely covered by the NHS supply chain or can they be provided by local businesses? If the latter, is there a contract in place and when would the tendering process re-start?"
Response
Nobles Hospital would generally purchase its supply of consumables from NHSSC as this is a compliant route to market.
There is currently no contract in place with local businesses.
