We write further to your request which was received on 22 May 2018 and which states:
"The number of Russians and Americans who have permission to reside here"
Our response to your request is as follows: Immigration records show that from January 2008 (when immigration data started to be collected electronically) to 23 May 2018, 508 immigration visas which gave the right to reside, be that permanently or temporarily, were issued to US nationals
Immigration records show that from January 2008 (when immigration data started to be collected electronically) to 23 May 2018, 184 immigration visas which gave the right to reside, be that permanently or temporarily, were issued to Russian nationals.
The Isle of Man Immigration Service do not carry out exit checks so are unable to say if these people are still residing in the Isle of Man. Please quote the reference number 477636 in any future communications.
