We write further to your request, received 23 June 2025, which states:

"Please provide:

  1. Copies of the Financial Statements for Onchan Burial Ground Authority for the years ending 31 March 2022, 31 March 2021, 31 March 2020, 31 March 2019, 31 March 2018 and 31 March 2017.

  2. Copies of the Burial Authorities Revenue Budget Submission by Onchan Burial Ground Authority for the years to 31 March 2024, 31 March 2023, 31 March 2022, 31 March 2021, 31 March 2020, 31 March 2019, 31 March 2018 and 31 March 2017 together with any supplementary documentation.

  3. If a Burial Authorities Revenue Budget Submission form is not held in respect of any of the periods listed in 2. above then copies of any other documents submitted by Onchan Burial Ground Authority to justify the rate to be levied should be provided."

Our response to your request is as follows: I have enclosed copies of the information.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, under section 20 of the Act, we are not required to provide information in response to a request if it is already reasonably accessible to you, whether free of charge or on payment of a fee.

Please refer to Appendix 1 and Appendix 2 for information related to question 2 of your request. Some of the information you have requested is absolutely exempt under section 25 of the Act (absolutely exempt personal information). The reasons why that exemption applies are that: • The Department of Infrastructure is satisfied that the information amounts to personal data of which you are not the data subject; and • The DepartmentInfrastructure can is satisfied that disclosure of the information would contravene one of the data protection principles as set out at Article 5 of the General Data Protection Regulation as it applies in the Isle of Man pursuant to the Data Protection (Application of GDPR) Order 2018, namely that the

Department of Infrastructure can only disclose the information where it would be fair, lawful and meet one of the conditions for lawful processing in Article 6 and in this case, none of those conditions have been met.
