"Please can you provide the following information.

Do any of these pupils receive free transport to School? If so, what is the cost?"

Our response to your request is as follows:

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance, complying with your request for information would require the Department of Education, Sport and Culture to create or derive information from information that it holds as well as undertaking analysis of information that it holds. Which the Department of Education, Sport and Culture is not required to do under the Act. By way of advice and assistance the request in its current form would require 32 primary schools and 5 secondary schools to open each pupil’s file to check their current address and transport arrangement. For this reason the Department of Education, Sport and Culture is not obliged to comply with your request. Should you wish to submit a fresh request in simplified terms please complete and submit the required form available on our website at: https://www.gov.im/about-the- government/freedom-of-information/make-a-freedom-of-information-request/
