We write further to your request, received 29 May 2025, which states:
"Since Hangar 5 was vacated by European Aviation Maintenance (EAM)
Has there been any tenants occupying the hangar?
Has there been any maintenance works carried out to the hangar structure including the doors and if so how much has been spent to date?
Has the hangar been utilised for any other purposes other than aircraft storage or maintenance, if so, has any revenue been generated by virtue of rents?"
Our response to your request is as follows: I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.
• There have been no tenants occupying the hanger.
• To date, the Department has spent £12,388 on maintenance works to the hangar structure.
• The hangar has been used by Government for storage and no revenue has been generated by virtue of rents.
