I write further to your request which was received on 9 May 2018 and which states:
"What has the cost of government retaining Lansons for the last 12 months"
I have detailed below the information that is being released to you. The awarded contract is for a retainer fee of £425,000 per annum, for which Lansons provides advice, counsel and support to the Cabinet Office and Department for Enterprise. This contract provides the Isle of Man Government with the needed flexibility and resources to defend and promote the island internationally, delivering a coordinated programme protecting the best interests of the Government and its citizens.
Due to the exceptional period of international scrutiny in the 12 months up to 6 June
2018, Lansons were paid additional project fees by Cabinet Office of £70,000.
