“Under the FOIA 2015, I am requesting the provision of data on the number of work permits issued by the Department, per annum from 2011 to the present day. The scope of this request concerns EEA nationals and non EEA nationals as well as the number of applicants denied a permit.” We have detailed below the information that is being released to you. It should also be noted that the majority of non-EEA nationals taking up work in the Island will have done so under the Immigration Rules, rather than the work permit system.
