We write further to your request, received 10 February 2025, which states:

"Could you please advise on the Minister, MHK or Civil Servant who has made the decision to close many of the greenways during TT and if they consulted anyone who rides or drives off road."

Our response to your request is as follows:

The proposal to close the greenways was jointly made by DEFA and DoI Officers. A formal decision on the closures has not yet been made by the Department. The Countryside Access Group have been included in discussions which include members of the off-roading community.
