Dear
We write further to your request received 6 February 2025, which states:
"Dear Sir,
Please may you provide me with the following, from Manx Care's inception to present:
a) How many Manx Care staff have received bonus payments?
b) In each case, what was the basis of those payments (i.e. to what specific metrics or
KPIs were they linked?)

Thank-you."
Response
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance Manx Care is unable to provide the information you have requested. This is in line with section 11(3)a of the Act, as a practical refusal reason applies; namely we do not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find the information that you have requested. It is not a framework that Manx Care use.
As a public sector organisation Manx Care does not pay any bonus payments for staff. Staff are paid under their defined terms and conditions and pay forms part of this. Occasionally, staff receive additional “ex gratia payments”, which can be for a variety of reasons. The data held does not attribute to whether these are performance related.
