- Data for 2025 is only available for January (55 diagnoses) as the response was issued in February 2025.
- Wider validated reports covering incidence and mortality up to 2019 are available via the Public Health website.

All new diagnosis of any cancer starting from 2015, January, up to most recent months data, prepared in a month by month basis
The information in the table below is taken solely from the Somerset Cancer Registry (SCR) and has not been validated.
It should be noted that the Somerset Cancer Register (SCR) was implemented in the Isle of Man in 2012. This has developed the reporting potential for
cancer data for the Isle of Man. However, the SCR implementation was done on a phased (specialty by specialty) process and therefore, some cancer types
have better recording than others historically.

Wider validated reports regarding cancer
For wider validated data on cancer, please see the Cancer Intelligence report, which is published on the Public Health website - https://www.gov.im/about- the-government/departments/cabinet-office/public-health/health-intelligence/cancer-intelligence-report/ This captures cancer incidence and mortality up to 2019. It is a report providing statistics on the incidence of cancer in Manx residents. It is produced by the Cancer Intelligence Group, a collaborative group of professionals from both Public Health and Manx Care. Please note that our data can be sensitive to large fluctuations when case numbers are small. This also means we have restrictions on the data because of small populations sizes.
