We write further to your request which was received on 20 April 2018 and which states:

"What is the total amount of money paid out to employees of the department who have left their positions in the last year under the Mutual Agreed Resignation Scheme?"

Our response to your request is as follows: I have detailed below the information that is being released to you. At the time of writing this response, the amount of money that has been paid out to employees of the Department of Health and Social Care who have left their positions under the Mutually Agreed Resignation Scheme is as follows: a) The amount paid in 2017 / 2018 financial year was £437,367.00; b) The amount paid in 2018 / 2019 financial year to date is £137,366.38. This gives an overall total of £574,733.38 Please quote the reference number 440854 in any future communications.
