We write further to your request received 28 January 2025, which states:

"When a Port Security Supervisor covers a shift for a Port Security officer in respect of sickness cover, do they get paid at the Port Security Officers rate of pay or the Port Security Supervisor rate of pay..

In other words do they claim the higher grade pay or do they get paid the lower paid grade of officer"

We regret to inform you that the Department of Infrastructure is no longer able to fulfil your Freedom of Information request.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Department does not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find the information that you have requested.

This is due to the transition of the Port Security team from the Department of Infrastructure to the Department of Home Affairs which was completed 1st February 2025. The Department of Infrastructure began processing your request within the standard processing period. However, following the transfer of the Port Security team with all associated data and information to the Department of Home Affairs, the Department no longer holds the information you have requested and therefore unable fulfil your request.

We are unable to transfer your original request to the Department of Home Affairs and therefore you may wish to submit your request to the Department of Home Affairs who may be able to help you.
