I seek information regarding any Tribunal proceedings initiated and brought under the Equality Act 2017 (e.g. disability discrimination/failure to make reasonable adjustments etc) which relate to neurodivergent issues (e.g. dyslexia, autism, ADHD etc) made against educational establishments and/or the Department of Education, Sport & Culture (DESC) namely: Details of such proceedings initiated, the number of claims initiated, the date and nature of each claim, the Section(s) of the Act to which any claim referred, claimant and respondent and the outcome of the claim (settled prior to Tribunal, proceeded to Tribunal etc): and Where a judgment was issued or a prior settlement agreed a copy of the documentation relating to such.

1 (one) complaint has been recorded with the Employment & Tribunals section of the General Registry against the Department of Education, Sport & Culture (DESC) during 2024. This complaint is at the early stages of the conciliation phase and details “Discrimination on the grounds of disability”.
