Dear ###

We write further to your request, received 7 January 2025, which states:

"Please supply the project specification and timeline progress and status information on the Legal Aid Case Management System project referenced in the Cabinet Office digital strategy January 2021 evaluation section."

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Cabinet Office does not hold some of the information that you have requested.

Government Technology Services (GTS) is a division of Cabinet Office. It assists Government Departments with technology and change aspects of projects, including with governance, business cases and funding bids.

GTS maintains a record of these projects for internal resource and planning purposes. The record does not represent the commissioning department's view of the status, progress or timeline of the project. Cabinet Office holds no project definition documents that have been signed off by the commissioning department (Treasury).

The status of the project in GTS's record is "on hold". This category serves internal resource management needs and does not reflect the current activity in Treasury, nor does it reflect the Treasury's view of the project's status.

However, you may wish to contact The Treasury who may be able to help you, or submit a Freedom of Information request directly to The Treasury here: https://www.gov.im/about-the-government/freedom-of-information/make-a-freedom- of-information- request/#:~:text=If%20you%20are%20unable%20to,by%20contacting%20the%20a uthority%20directly.
