We write further to your request, received 7 January 2025 and amended on 29 January 2025, which states:

Our response to your request is as follows:

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, under section 20 of the Act, we are not required to provide information in response to a request if it is already reasonably accessible to you, whether free of charge or on payment of a fee. Details of where the information is located, in the budget document, is provided below.

  1. The total amount Manx National Heritage can loan from Treasury in the current financial year (2023/25)

The total amount Manx National Heritage (MNH) can loan from the Consolidated Loan Fund in the current financial year (2024/25) is available in table 19B, on page 42.

By way of advice and assistance the total amount that MNH can borrow has been broken down into four different purposes, in the same table. These are the specific purposes of what MNH can use the loans for and MNH can loan sums which do not exceed the amounts in the table.

  1. The period of the loan

The period of the loan for each of the different purposes is available in column C5, in table 19B, on page 42.

  1. The rate of interest of the loan

The rate of interest applicable for the 2024/25 financial year is available in the sixth paragraph, of section 8 (‘The Capital Programme’), on page 38.
