We write further to your request, received 7 November 2024, which states:
"I am requesting a breakdown on AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) in schools. Please provide whether each school has an AED, and if so, the number of AEDs per school, location within the school (such as reception) and the AED model. "
Our response to your request is as follows:
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, under section 20 of the Act, we are not required to provide information in response to a request if it is already reasonably accessible to you, whether free of charge or on payment of a fee. The majority of the information that you have requested is available from a response to a Tynwald written answer published on the 02/03/2023 which is available here: https://www.tynwald.org.im/spfile?file=/business/BusinessHansardIndex2126/W- 202301-0583.pdf Please note further to the above information Ramsey Grammer School now have an additional AED based at the West Building Office (only accessible during opening hours). There are currently two types of defibrillators in use by schools, which are: - Phillips Heartstart and Zoll AED Plus.
